Cultivator is designed for early-stage startups located in Western New York (Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties) that are medium- to high-growth*. No prior affiliation with UB is required.
*Medium- to high-growth means companies developing products or platforms that aim to serve national or international markets, like software or innovative manufactured goods. While small businesses with a local or regional focus play a very important role in our community, they are not a fit for Cultivator (e.g. most brick and mortar stores, restaurants, etc.).
