Fulbright US Scholar Application Deadline: September 16, 2024

Good afternoon,

I hope your semester is off to a great start. I am reaching out to send a friendly reminder of the upcoming application deadline to all of our Fulbright application webinar and workshop registrants, who may be applying to the upcoming award cycle. The application deadline for all materials is September 16th, by 5 p.m. EST. As a reminder, the application has to be submitted through the Fulbright application portal, which you can find here: apply.iie.org/fusc2025.

From the portal you will be able to submit your:

Project statement (3-5 pgs single spaced, 12 pt font, 1 inch margins)
CV (up to 6 pgs. Up to 8 pgs for Distinguished Scholar awards; single spaced, 12-pt 1-inch margins)
Letters of Recommendation (2): applicants must register their recommenders in the online application system and are responsible for ensuring their letters are submitted by their recommenders via the online system by the Sept 16th deadline. You can track the status of the letters on the online portal and send reminders to letter writers.
Short Essays
Reference List (required for Research or Teaching/Research activities)
Syllabi (required for Teaching or Teaching/Research activities)
Letter(s) of Invitation (may be required). NOTE: Letter(s) of invitation will be accepted until Sept 26th, 2024, by 5 p.m. EST.
Language Proficiency (may be required)
Portfolio (required for Arts disciplines)

We are writing to inform you about UB’s continued institutional membership with the National Center for Faculty Development & Diversity (NCFDD). The NCFDD is a nationally recognized, independent organization that provides online career development and mentoring resources for faculty, post-docs, and graduate students. For more information, see UB’s NCFDD webpage.

To claim your free Institutional Membership, complete the following steps:

Go to http://www.facultydiversity.org/join
Choose University at Buffalo from the drop-down menu.
Select “Activate my Membership”.
Complete the registration form using your institutional email address (@buffalo.edu).
Go to your UB email to find a confirmation/welcome email. Click “Activate Account” in the email.
