Wait List
Students can add themselves to the wait list of a class.
Log into MyUB and click on HUB Student Center
1. Select the “Manage Classes” tile.
2. Select the “Select Classes” tab from the navigation pane.
3. Select the appropriate term.
4. Enter the class information into the search bar.
Enter specific keyword(s) for retrieval of class(es). For example, if searching for CEP 200, the search could include one or more of the following:
- Course title (Introduction to the Counseling Professions).
- Subject (CEP).
- Catalog Number (200).
- Class number (ex: 12345).

5. The search results will display results based on the criteria entered. Filter the results by selecting either the “Open Classes” or “Wait List Classes” under “Class Status.”
6. This course has three open sections and one section for which students can add themselves to a wait list.
The seats column will display how many wait list places are available (Ex: Wait list Available Places 35 of 35). Click the row of the course to register for. For this example we will select the section that has a Wait List.
7. A new window will open prompting the user to review their selection. Click on “Next.”
8. Review the class preferences. To be added to the wait list, toggle the “Add to wait list if class is full?” button to select “Yes” and click “Accept.”
9. Review and then click on “Submit.”
10. The student will receive a confirmation page that the course has been added to their “Shopping Cart”. Use the navigation pane to select the “Shopping Cart” tab.
11. Select “Validate” to confirm that the student meets the enrollment requirements. Students may also “Delete” courses from their shopping cart by clicking on the Delete button.
To continue with registration, select the class(es) to register for and click on “Enroll.” Confirm the selection.
12. The student will receive a confirmation page indicating that they have successfully wait listed for the class. The information will display the student’s position number on the wait list.
