The summer math program will reinforce basic math skills and improve critical thinking and reasoning skills, specifically related to fraction operations.
Project-based learning classrooms are places where a constructivist approach to learning assists students in gaining a deeper understanding of materials through process-oriented engagement in investigation of real, meaningful problems.
As a part of our program, students will work with one program instructor and two teaching assistants for six hours a day — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. — for five days.
