Transportation

Numerous bikes on a bike rack.

No car, no problem. UB offers plenty of ways to travel around campus using alternative transportation methods. Our system of convenient, free shuttles and buses make it easy to travel to or around any of our three campus centers.

Biking at UB

The Bicycling at UB Committee, comprised of staff members from Sustainability, Campus Living, Parking & Transportation Services, Wellness, UBPD and Facilities represents the interest of bicyclists on campus. Our objectives are to improve the facilities (bike racks), infrastructure (shared roadways and bike lanes) and amenities (fix-it stands and winter storage for bicycles) for bicyclists on the North and South campuses, and in between. Cyclists welcome!

Electrifying the Fleet

An electric car recharges at a charging station.

Do you have an electric vehicle?

UB is proud to be partnering with National Grid and ChargePoint to offer electric vehicle owners three new locations to charge their vehicles. To better serve those with electric vehicles, we are collecting data on the types of vehicles that will be using the stations.
