Jordan Walbesser is a double graduate of the University at Buffalo (CompEng. B.S. '07., J.D. '10). After nearly a decade in private practice, Jordan is now director, legal & business affairs for Mattel. As a toy lawyer, Jordan manages complex, intellectual-property driven deals with licensees, publishers and developers throughout the world. His multidisciplinary background from the University at Buffalo gives him a unique perspective on how to tackle issues relating to licensing, intellectual property and technology matters. Jordan also serves as an adjunct instructor in Intellectual Property Law for the UB Entrepreneurship Law Clinic and consults with startup companies around the country. Following his passion for entrepreneurship, Jordan helped start BootSector, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting, educating and empowering the next generation of startup community leaders in WNY.
