"Called to Kill," the second book in the Nikki Barnes mystery series authored by Joan Albarella, veteran writer and associate professor in the Educational Opportunity Center, has been published by Rising Tide Press of Tucson, Ariz. The first book in the series is titled "Agenda for Murder."
Deborah A. Silverman, senior staff writer in the Office of the President, has been awarded APR accreditation by the Universal Accreditation Program administered by the Public Relations Society of America. Universal Accreditation is granted only after successful completion of written and oral examinations designed to demonstrate the candidate's knowledge and competence in the practice of public relations. Candidates must have at least five years of professional practice before being eligible for the exam, which is administered twice a year throughout the nation.
Harvey Breverman, SUNY Distinguished Professor in the Department of Art, will serve as a moderator during a symposium, Perspectives in Prints, to be held Nov. 5 in the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
