Buffalo school students explore the intersections of science, technology, engineering and mathematics through bicycles and bicycle riding at the STEMcyclists Summer Camp in July. The new program was created by Noemi Waight, associate professor of science education in the Graduate School of Education’s Department of Learning and Instruction in collaboration with GoBike Buffalo and UB’s Science and Technology Entry Program, as a hands-on experience to learn how the world—and bicycles—work.
