Find a Vendor

You will need to find a licensed vendor to create your product. Licensed vendors are vetted by the university, familiar with brand standards and have access to approved logos and lockups. Additionally, they carry appropriate liability insurance for various products and formally agree to abide by the university’s code of conduct, which requires the company to conduct business in a socially responsible manner—important to the university’s mission.

Vendor Search Tool

To conduct a more in-depth search of our licensed vendors list you can use the Vendor search tool and search by product type.

Using the Vendor Search Tool

  1. Open the CLC Vendor Search webpage.
  2. Select a Product Category from the drop-down menu.
  3. Under "Pick a School," choose "Buffalo, University at" (not "Buffalo State University").
  4. This search helps find vendors by product, but it won't show their rights to specific products. To verify, refer to the list of licensed vendors. Download pdf(152 KB) for detailed rights information.

The vendors listed in the Vendor Search Tool include both internal and external vendors. If you are a university department creating merchandise, you will need to cross check that a vendor has an internal license by using the licensed vendors list.
