We are a strong university community by virtue of our diverse viewpoints, backgrounds and identities. This mindset is reflected in our academics, our research, our faculty and staff, our student body and our culture.
We are at our best when we honor diverse cultural heritage. As a center for learning and growth, we are committed to becoming more inclusive and accessible while honoring, respecting and preserving the past as we work together to write the future.
UB’s new department of indigenous studies is an interdisciplinary “home and hub” for study that centers the knowledge, priorities, aspirations and lived experiences of indigenous people locally, nationally and internationally.
Because UB is compelled by the greater good, we strive to provide fair opportunities for all through scholarships and other support. Scholarships funded by generous donors like you throughout the Boldly Buffalo campaign ensure more deserving students have access to a UB education.
