Whether you’re sick, stressed out, or you just want to learn more about healthy behaviors, we’re here to help take care of you during your time at UB. All health and wellness services are available to every UB student, usually at no cost to you.
Call University Police at 716-645-2222. If you live in Flickinger Court Apartments or off campus, call 911.
Call Health Services for any non-emergency medical concern. Our team includes physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, medical support staff, and supervised chiropractic interns.
Physicians also provide referrals to specialty care as appropriate.

Call UB Health Services for any urgent medical concerns.
Call UB Health Services and listen to the phone message, which will give you instructions for how to reach the after-hours nurse. This nurse will provide medical care advice and assistance over the phone.
If you need urgent (but not emergency) medical care when UB Health Services is closed, you may want to visit a local urgent care facility.

Please note: the office visit to an urgent care facility is NOT paid for by your mandatory health fee. We advise you to check with your insurance company regarding coverage before you go to one of these centers, as you are responsible for any costs not paid for by your health insurance company.
You can always call Counseling Services for any emotional issues, including dealing with stress, handling a crisis, or coping with the transition to the university. Counseling is provided individually, in groups, and through workshops.

If you have a telehealth or virtual counseling appointment and don't have a private room, you can make a reservation in a designated space in your Residence Hall or Apartment Complex.
