Congratulations to Nick Wasmoen

Congratulations to Nikolaus Wasmoen, who was selected as the next Technology and Infrastructure Chair of the Modernist Studies Association, through a unanimous vote of the MSA Board of Directors. The MSA president wrote, “indeed, the board was delighted to know that such a well-qualified applicant was ready to take over.” Nick’s term begins mid-December 2020.

Congratulations to Jeff Good

Jeff Good has received a $34,615 supplement to his current NSF grant entitled, "Socio-Spatial Approaches to the Analysis of Multilingualism,” to help move forward on an Android-based tool to facilitate the management of digital data collection remotely. The supplement, titled “A smartphone-based application to manage documentary workflows,” will support a graduate student and undergraduates to help develop the tool.

Congratulations to Lana Pasek

Lana Pasek was awarded the Edith Anderson Leadership Education Award from Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society in July, 2019.

Pasek also co-authored a published manuscript as a collaborative effort of UB School of Nursing and University of Missouri School of Nursing in the Spring of 2020 titled, "Transitional Care Models for High-Need, High Cost Adults in the United States" in the Journal of Professional Case Management.
