Study Abroad Coordinator

Myra is the Study Abroad Coordinator.

Myra joined the office in May 2023. After studying abroad for an academic year in Paris, France during her undergraduate career, Myra's interest in International Education (specifically Education Abroad) flourished. She then pursued her Master's in International Education at George Washington University in Washington, DC. During her program, she participated in a Faculty-Led study abroad program in Germany that focused on the influx of Syrian refugees into the German higher education system, further heightening her interest in providing access to students who wish to go on study abroad excursions of their own.

In 2019, Myra joined the national office at NAFSA: Association of International Educators where she oversaw various committees, volunteers, and the Member Interest Groups. Originally from Buffalo, NY, Myra is excited to be back in her hometown helping students at UB discover the possibilities of studying abroad.
