As data becomes increasingly available in the fields of engineering and applied sciences, there is a greater need for advanced analysis methods in order to identify ties between problems, phenomena and potential explanatory factors.
Our statistical and econometric approaches include continuous data modeling, censored data modeling, count-data modeling, hazard-based duration modeling, discrete outcome modeling, ordered probability modeling, system of equations modeling, multivariate modeling, random parameters modeling, time series modeling, spatial statistical modeling, etc.
The ESEA lab alligns with the goals of UB's Stepen Still Institute for Sustainable Tranportation and Logistics (ISTL) and the Transportation Informatics University Transportation Center (TransInfo). The lab's mission is to provide expertise in the field of statistical and econometric methods, modeling and applications for engineering and applied sciences.
