Program Description

The two-year Master of Urban Planning equips students with interdisciplinary skills and hands-on experience to become professional planners. The core curriculum includes planning studios, electives, and a culminating project or thesis. Emphasizing urban sustainability and social justice, the program covers land use, environmental planning, housing, transportation, urban design, historic preservation, economic development and global development. Fully accredited by the Planning Accreditation Board, our alumni work in government agencies, nonprofits, and private firms worldwide.
