Transportation, logistics and supply-chain management represent a field of inquiry with significant impact on businesses and society coupled with unique job opportunities. Our master's program is designed to train globally competitive graduates who are well rounded technically and managerially, and who intend to assume leadership positions in transportation and logistics.
Research and education related to this field require a cross-disciplinary approach that integrates analytical and engineering problem-solving skills with management principles. Our master's program is jointly offered by the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences and the School of Management, thus offering students a truly trans-disciplinary program that is distinct to UB. A basic thrust in the program is sustainability, with an emphasis on environmentally friendly and socially responsible technologies and practices.
This program is a STEM Certified Degree, allowing international students the ability to apply for the 24-month STEM OPT Extension.
