It is my great pleasure to announce the appointment of Laura Hubbard as Vice President for Finance and Administration at the University at Buffalo, effective February 27, 2012.
Laura was selected by the search committee as the leading candidate following a highly competitive national search launched in June 2011. She is exceptionally well qualified for this position, with extensive experience in the areas of higher education finance and administration and a complex understanding of the contexts within which a major research-intensive university operates. Her expertise and perspective will be highly valuable assets to our university community.
