Global chief medical officer and vice president of healthcare for Microsoft Global, David C. Rhew, MD, discussed the expansion of AI in the health care world. Following Dr. Rhew's keynote, a panel featurning some of WNY's health care leaders was moderated by UB's vice president for health sciences and dean of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences Dr. Allison Brashear. Dr. Jinjun Xiong, director of UB's Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Data Science also moderated a discussion about the inaugural class of UB researchers awarded Health and AI Seed Funding.
