Reminder - Fulbright Deadline 2024

Good afternoon, 

I hope your semester is off to a great start. I am reaching out to send a friendly reminder of the upcoming application deadline to all of our Fulbright application webinar and workshop registrants, who may be applying to the upcoming award cycle. The application deadline for all materials is September 16th, by 5 p.m. EST. As a reminder, the application has to be submitted through the Fulbright application portal, which you can find here: apply.iie.org/fusc2025. 

From the portal you will be able to submit your:

• Project statement (3-5 pgs single spaced, 12 pt font, 1 inch margins)
• CV (up to 6 pgs. Up to 8 pgs for Distinguished Scholar awards; single spaced, 12-pt 1-inch margins)
• Letters of Recommendation (2): applicants must register their recommenders in the online application system and are responsible for ensuring their letters are submitted by their recommenders via the online system by the Sept 16th deadline. You can track the status of the letters on the online portal and send reminders to letter writers.
• Short Essays
• Reference List (required for Research or Teaching/Research activities)
• Syllabi (required for Teaching or Teaching/Research activities)
• Letter(s) of Invitation (may be required). NOTE: Letter(s) of invitation will be accepted until Sept 26th, 2024, by 5 p.m. EST. 
• Language Proficiency (may be required)
• Portfolio (required for Arts disciplines)
