Dear UB Community:
I am pleased to report that the search for the next vice provost for international education is now underway. Dr. Munroe Eagles, professor and chair of the Department of Political Science, has agreed to serve as chair of the search committee. Under Professor Eagles’ leadership and with the support of the search committee, I have every confidence that the search for the next vice provost for international education will be a great success.
The search committee includes faculty, staff and a student from across the university. I am grateful to the members of this committee for their willingness to assist UB in recruiting an outstanding individual for this important leadership position. We have secured the services of Isaacson, Miller to assist the search committee. Sean Farrell will be the principal from the firm working on this search, assisted by Marc St. Hilaire. Mr. Farrell has extensive experience in supporting executive and decanal searches for some of the nation’s leading universities.
The search committee and search firm will begin their work in March with the goal of completing the search process by July 1. Throughout the coming months, Professor Eagles will update the university community regarding the committee’s progress.
