Research and Economic Development

From the humanities to the hard sciences, the Research and Economic Development offices and units support the planning, implementation and recording of scholarship and research.

The Research and Economic Development office and its coordinating units support campus-wide research and entrepreneurial enterprise. In helping faculty achieve research excellence, they work on proposals from concept through submission, review regulations to ensure compliance, and offer training and assistance. They encourage entrepreneurs, nurture start-ups and facilitate innovation in ways that benefit the university as well as the local and global community.
