UB Researchers

We provide access to precision laboratories, tools and equipment for electronic device development, and the study and analysis of materials. As a member of UB's academic community, you can gain cost-effective access to our shared facilities at rates that are subsidized by the university. Our facilities include:  

Descriptions of four Shared Instrumentation Laboratory facilities, the Cleanroom, Materials Characterization Laboratory, Digital Manufacturing Laboratory and BioDesign Core Facility, are available to aid faculty in proposal preparation. Each description includes a facility overview, access & shared use, support services, instrumentation details and photographs of the equipment, as well as a downloadable Word file. You will need to login with your UBIT name and password.

Our laboratories are located on a several UB campuses.

Laboratory staff is available to provide hands-on training, project advisement, equipment maintenance, and technical services to meet user needs. We encourage you to search our equipment database to find the specialized equipment to meet your project requirements.
