UB’s BioDesign Core Facility is an analytical characterization laboratory that provides mass spectrometry and other related services to UB researchers and the greater community with interests in biological transformations. The lab offers full-time PhD-level expert guidance and assistance with all analysis and data interpretations, as well as instrument training and use.

The services provided encompass molecular weight determination, structural elucidation, and proteomic / metabolomics / lipidomic characterization.
