Recognition Ceremonies

ALANA

The ALANA Celebration of Achievement is a commencement recognition ceremony, primarily for underrepresented students and student of color. For information about registration and participation, please view the Commencement website.

Lavender

The Lavender Reception is a commencement recognition ceremony that celebrates the achievements of graduating students who identify with the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) community at UB. Check the Commencement website in late spring for information about registration and participation.

Veteran and Military Recognition

Veteran and Military Recognition is a commencement recognition ceremony that celebrates the achievements of graduating students who serve or have served in the military. Check the Commencement website in late spring for information about registration and participation.
