Registering for next semester’s classes on the day of your enrollment appointment helps you get the classes and class times you need to stay on track toward timely graduation, stay eligible for financial aid and avoid registration late fees.
Here’s how to prepare for registration:
Visit your HUB Student Center to ensure any holds blocking you from registering are resolved.
You are assigned a specific date and time to begin registering in HUB. View your enrollment appointment in your HUB Student Center, Manage Classes tile and mark this on your calendar.
To review your plan for next year and get all your questions answered, schedule an appointment with your academic advisor through the Navigate app well in advance of your enrollment date. Your advisor will help you explore your major, understand requirements, and review your plan for next semester.
Use Schedule Builder and shopping cart to search for courses and plan your schedule. You can also import classes directly from your Planner. It is best to begin by adding courses to your shopping cart on the day of your enrollment appointment; you don't have to wait until you know your completed schedule.
On your assigned enrollment date, register for classes in HUB. For best class selection, register as soon as your enrollment appointment opens.
Review your degree requirements and suggested curricular plans and learn more about available courses.
Track your progress.
Transfer students: Review incoming transfer courses, credits, grades and UB course equivalencies.
Select UB Curriculum Pathway courses with Path Finder. Remember to save your courses to HUB by selecting the “Save to HUB” button in the upper right-hand corner of the Path Finder.
Place classes you would like to take into your Shopping Cart and validate them to see if there are any conflicts with times or requisites (courses that need to be taken before or with another course).
