  • Igniting Hope conference aims to end race-based health disparities

    On September 30th, the sixth annual "Igniting Hope" conference brought together 300 community members, along with University at Buffalo students, faculty, and staff. This gathering has evolved into what organizers characterize as a movement with the goal of creating enduring change in the region by addressing race-based disparities and their profound effects on the health of marginalized communities, including Black and Hispanic individuals.
