Prevented by inclement weather in Albany from personally delivering his
message, Gov. George Pataki announced Monday via a live broadcast that UB
will receive $105 million in state capital funding over the next five years.

UB budget for 1998-99
is $230.1 million
UB has received a 1998-99 budget allocation from SUNY of $230.1 million
under the new Resource Allocation Methodology (RAM), an increase of $8.6
million over the 1997-98 base budget of $221.5 million.
