Athlete of the week
Sarah Kranzler was the top performer for the women's track-and-field squad at the 4th annual Millersville Multi last weekend as she captured first place in the long jump (17' 4-3/4") and placed second in the heptathlon with a score of 3,908 pts.

Crew

Men's varsity four placed first, women's novice eight placed eighth at Mercyhurst Regatta.

The crew team took on Hamilton and Mercyhurst at the Mercyhurst Regatta at Findley, N.Y., on Saturday.

Highlights included first-place finishes from the men's varsity four (7:07.54) and the women's novice eight (7:37.61).

Tennis

Men's

Toledo 7, UB 0

Ball State 7, UB 0

The men's tennis team remained winless in the Mid-American Conference as it lost to visiting Toledo, 7-0, on Friday and Ball State, 7-0, on Saturday.

Women's

Bowling Green 7, UB 0 Ball State 7, UB 0

The women's tennis team dropped MAC matches against Bowling Green, 7-0, on Friday and Ball State, 7-0, on Saturday.

Outdoor Track and Field

The track team took part in the 4th annual Millersville Multi Heptathlon/Decathlon hosted by Millersville University last weekend in Millersville, Pa.

Top finishers for Buffalo included Sarah Kranzler (3,908 pts.) and Chrissie Matthews (3,704 pts.), who placed second and third, respectively, in the heptathlon. Kranzler captured first place in the long jump (17' 4-3/4").

The Bulls also competed in the Bucknell Invitational last weekend. Ruth Conlon finished second in the hammer with a throw of 168'. Rashidi Greene finished second in the men's hammer with a school record throw of 177'1". Keith Gentes finished third in the hammer.
