Memorial service planned for Elliott Middleton, Jr.

A memorial service for Elliott Middleton, Jr., a former professor of medicine and pediatrics in the School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, will be held at 3 p.m. May 13 in Trinity Episcopal Church, 371 Delaware Ave., Buffalo.

Middleton, who retired from the UB faculty in 1995 after 19 years of service, died March 7 at age 73 in Maine Medical Center, Portland, after a brief illness. An allergist and researcher, he had served as director of the Division of Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Internal Medicine. He had lived in Maine since his retirement
