Improving post-disaster response Minutes after the first hijacked plane hit the World Trade Center's north tower on Sept. 11, information began to flow from the site to police, firefighters and other emergency personnel.
In recognition of its strengths in bioinformatics and related areas, UB has been awarded a major grant to develop professional master's degrees in disciplines closely related to bioinformatics by the prestigious Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
