"Desiderio: 2101 City of
Desire"
Two sets of 20 intaglios and
hand-colored intaglios by Bruno Freschi, dean emeritus and professor
emeritus in the School of Architecture and Planning, will be on display
tomorrow through Oct. 6 in the Second Floor Gallery of the UB Art
Gallery in the Center for the Arts, North Campus. Gallery hours are
11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and Mondays by appointment.

Work by painter Joseph Norman
is on display through Oct. 28 in the Anderson Gallery, Martha Jackson
Place, Buffalo. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through
Saturday and from 1-5 p.m. on Sunday.
"Fresh, not Pickled: UB Art
Foundations"
Work produced
in the "foundations" coursesthe basic art courses that all art majors
take in their freshman yearconveys the students at the most absorbent
and wide-eyed point in their academic life. A selection of work in diverse
media reflecting the aspirations of these students is on display today
through Oct. 25 in the Art Department Gallery, B45 Center for the Arts,
North Campus. The opening reception will be held from 5-7 p.m. today.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday
through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday.
