Outstanding doctoral students studying higher education receive awards through this fund.
Robert Valenti received his bachelor’s degree from UB (with honors), and was attending UB in pursuit of his doctorate in educational leadership and policy when he died suddenly from a brain aneurysm. He was 27 years old.
