With a focus on local-to-global impact, the Graduate School of Education is a diverse, energetic and inclusive community engaged in ground-breaking research and teaching across education, human development and information science that improves educational, social and economic opportunities for individuals and communities. Our students are involved in dynamic, collaborative and transformative research that impacts our local, national and global communities. As we transform society through education, our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion permeates our research, teaching and instruction.
For more than 80 years, the school has provided exceptional educational experiences to more than 20,000 students. Our students have moved on to successful careers as university presidents and administrators, principals, superintendents, psychologists, counselors, information specialists, librarians, teachers, faculty and outstanding researchers.
In addition to our long history of offering high caliber face-to-face programs, in recent years, the school has become a leader among research intensive schools of education in its commitment to offering high-quality online programs.
