Most of our washing machines are designed for high efficiency (He) liquid detergents. If high efficiency detergents are not available, one-quarter cup of a normal liquid detergent may be used.
We also suggest that residents use a mesh bag for delicate items (mesh bags can be purchased at most department stores). In order to avoid damage to laundry machines, please:
- Do not use washer/dryer combo sheets
- Do not use powdered detergents
- Do not fill the machine more than halfway with clothing
