When you live on campus you always have someone to help you. Resident and Community Assistants are UB students who live along side you and are trained to provide guidance and support in all aspects of your life at UB.
There are leadership opportunities available to on-campus students, like the Residence Hall Association (RHA). One of the largest student-run organizations on campus, RHA is a governance group that advocates for residents and sponsors programming and events.
Your safety is our priority. A UB Card is required to access our residence halls. With live-in staff on duty 24/7 and our on-campus University Police department standing by, there is always someone looking out for you.

If you want to bring your bike to campus, we offer a number of free resources, including: winter bike storage, bike registration and bike racks on UB Stampede buses. Plus, there’s a BikeShare program if you want to ride on campus but don’t have a bike of your own.
All students are allowed to have a car on campus— including first-year students in residence halls. Although we don’t think you’ll need one, you can park your personal vehicle in our secure lots.
