After-school, intensive tutoring sessions occur on-site and virtually at CLaRI. For 12 weeks, children attend CLaRI tutoring in person or virtually two times a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for comprehensive, one-on-one tutoring.
CLaRI offers on-site and virtual one-to-one reading and writing sessions on Saturday mornings from mid-September to mid-December (fall semester) and January through early May (spring semester). This program provides individualized tutoring to children entering kindergarten through grade 12.
Summer Reading and Writing Society, CLaRI’s on-site and virtual camp, provides literacy instruction for four weeks. Children reading and writing below grade level and entering second grade through fifth grade in fall 2024 are eligible to attend.
In the summer, CLaRI offers individualized in-person and virtual tutoring to children entering kindergarten through grade 12. Certified literacy specialists and UB literacy specialist graduate students provide individualized literacy instruction using research-based practices to tailor instruction to meet each child’s unique literacy and learning needs. We believe that all children can learn to read.
