Tickets

Tickets are required for all commencement ceremonies. For specific details about your ceremony, please visit the Ceremonies & Streaming Page.

Tickets and Seating

Tickets are required for all guests ages three and older. Graduates and children two years of age and younger who will be seated on a guest’s lap do not require a ticket. Baby strollers are not permitted.

All commencement ceremonies are general admission. Doors will open for guest seating one hour prior to the start of each ceremony.

Ticket Reservations

Commencement tickets are reserved by graduates as part of their registration to participate in their ceremony. Each graduate can request up to a designated number of tickets, which varies by ceremony.

For specific details on ticket allotments and distribution, graduates should refer to their ceremony’s guidelines or contact their unit's coordinator.

Ticket Distribution

Commencement tickets are distributed electronically via Ticketmaster as mobile tickets. Graduates who register to receive tickets will receive an email from Ticketmaster with instructions on how to accept and transfer tickets. These instructions can also be found on the Mobile Tickets webpage.

Mobile tickets cannot be printed. Please ensure you accept your tickets before arriving at the commencement ceremony. Guests are encouraged to save their tickets to a mobile wallet for easy access.

Accessible Tickets and Seating

There are no specific tickets for accessible seating. Each guest will need a standard guest ticket. For more information about available accommodations, please visit the Accessibility Accommodations webpage.

Accessible Seating

Specific areas at both venues have been established for accessible seating. Guests requiring accommodation can check in at Guest Services for assistance with finding seats.

To ensure ample seating, guests requiring accommodation may bring ONE companion to sit with them. Both guests must have a ceremony ticket.
