Mobile Tickets

Commencement tickets are provided electronically as mobile tickets. Mobile tickets will be sent via email through Ticketmaster.

Mobile Tickets

Instructions for managing tickets vary for each ceremony venue. To determine your ceremony venue, please visit the Ceremonies & Streaming webpage.

Commencement tickets are provided electronically through Ticketmaster as mobile tickets. Graduates who register for tickets will receive an email from Ticketmaster including instructions on how to accept and transfer mobile tickets.

Mobile tickets cannot be printed. Please accept the tickets before arriving at the commencement ceremony. Guests are encouraged to save the tickets to a mobile wallet for easy access.

Accepting Mobile Tickets Through UB Bulls Account Manager

On your mobile device, open the 'Someone Just Sent You Tickets' email from University at Buffalo-Athletics.
Click the 'Accept Tickets' button
Sign into the UB Bulls Account Manager using your Ticketmaster credentials. If you do not have a Ticketmaster account, please refer to the Creating a Ticketmaster Account for Alumni Arena Ceremonies instructions.
After signing in, you will be directed to a page with your mobile tickets. Click the ticket description to view the barcode.
To save the ticket(s) to a digital wallet, click the 'Add to Wallet' button on the screen with the ticket barcode.
- iPhone users: Save to Apple Wallet
- Android users: Save to Google Pay
If you prefer not to save the tickets to a digital wallet, scroll to 'My SafeTix' and select your ticket. Your ticket will now appear on your screen, ready for scanning.

Creating a Ticketmaster Account for Alumni Arena Ceremonies

Open the email from Ticketmaster on your mobile device.
Click the 'View and Use Mobile Tickets' button. You will then be prompted to sign in to Ticketmaster.
At the top of the sign in screen, you’ll see an option that says 'New to Ticketmaster? Sign up.' Click 'Sign up'.
Enter your email address (use the same email where you received the Ticketmaster email), name, and zip code. Create a password, then click 'Next'.
Enter your phone number and click 'Next'.
You will receive a text message with a verification code. Enter the code into the designated area and click 'Next'.
Once verified, you’ll be taken to the Ticketmaster homepage. To access your tickets, click 'My Account' in the top right corner, then select 'My Tickets' from the dropdown menu.
Follow the Accepting Mobile Tickets Through UB Bulls Account Manager instructions beginning at step #5 to manage your tickets after creating your account.

Transferring Tickets for Alumni Arena Ceremonies (Optional)

After signing in to the UB Bulls Account Manager and accepting your tickets, click 'Manage Tickets'.
Click 'View Event Details' to select the tickets
On a computer, click 'Transfer'. On a mobile device, first select one ot the tickets and click 'Transfer.'
- Choose the ticket(s) you would like to transfer by checking the box next to each ticket and click 'Continue'
Enter the recipient's name, email address, and an optional note.
Click 'Transfer'. On a computer you will need to click 'Save' before clicking the 'Transfer' button.
To accept their ticket(s), guests recieving the ticket(s) will need to follow the Accepting Mobile Tickets Through UB Bulls Account Manager instructions.

Accepting Mobile Tickets Through Ticketmaster

Open the email from Ticketmaster on your mobile device.
Click the 'View and Use Mobile Tickets' button
Sign in using your Ticketmaster credentials. If you do not an account, please refer to the Creating a Ticketmaster Account for Center for the Arts Ceremonies instructions.
You will be directed to a page with your mobile tickets. Click the 'Manage Tickets' button.
Click the 'Claim Tickets' button to accept and link your mobile ticket(s) to your account.
To save the ticket(s) to a digital wallet, click the 'View and Save Tickets' button in the purple 'Get your Tickets Ready' box.
- iPhone users: Save to Apple Wallet
- Android users: Save to Google Pay

Authenticate your account via text message or email.
Use the checkboxes on the left side to select the ticket(s) you wish to transfer.
Click 'Continue'.
