Student walking along the spine in 2016.

Making higher education possible for every student.

EOP provides academic and financial support to help you succeed in college and beyond.

For more than 50 years, the University at Buffalo’s Arthur O. Eve Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) has helped students overcome financial and academic barriers to attend university, earn a degree, and achieve their life goals.

As an EOP student, you’ll receive services to help you reach your potential. This includes personalized academic advising and counseling to support you from enrollment through graduation. We provide a pre-freshman summer program to help you transition to college life and connection to a community of fellow EOP students and alumni to help guide you every step of the way. There is also financial assistance to cover some non-tuition costs.
