Our success leads the nation.
EOP students are unlike any other population at UB. They’re tenacious and resilient, and when they put their minds to something, wonderful things happen.
We’re proud to support our students as they work toward graduation. EOP students have access to a range of holistic academic intervention and support resources through EOP and other programs within the Cora P. Maloney Center (CPMC), including Student Support Services.
The Arthur O. Eve Educational Opportunity Program coordinates several events during the year. Please check our calendar for upcoming activities.
Two of our signature events are our annual Honors Convocation and the EOP Senior Banquet.
The convocation recognizes EOP students with 4.0 GPAs and all students who have achieved higher than a 3.0 GPA for their semester. We present many awards during this ceremony, including the William Greiner Award to our student leaders, the Percy Sutton Award to our highest achieving graduating senior, and the Arthur O. Eve Award to the student who has achieved at the highest level in spite of serious challenges.
The annual EOP Senior Banquet honors graduates and their families.
