Membership Committee
The Membership Committee is charged with the recruitment and orientation of new members and retention of current members.
Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee is charged with advertising the for the call of student nominations for the two scholarships offered by MFSA (Academic Achievement Award & Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship), review applications and determine the receipients.
Event Planning Committee
The Event Planning Committee is charged with organizing the fall welcome reception, working with the e-board on the Martin Luther King Jr. event and planning the end of the year luncheon.
Student Outreach Committee
The Student Outreach Committee is charged with cultivating a campus culture of inclusive excellence by fostering positive relationships with and supporting underrepresented students/families.
Faculty Outreach Committee
The Faculty Outreach Committee is charged with assisting MFSA's effort to built an inclusive community by serving as an organized support network to help faculty of Color navigate the university system while providing a platform to express their throughts, concerns, needs and contributions to support the campus and local community.
