As Parking Operations Manager, John wears a lot of hats to help keep UB moving. Whether he's coordinating parking for major campus events, troubleshooting parking technology or improving signage and operations, he enjoys finding practical solutions that make navigating campus easier for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Chris Austin, PTMP, serves as the University at Buffalo's Director of Parking and Transportation Services, where he oversees parking, shuttle and mobility operations that support thousands of students, faculty, staff and visitors each day. He is committed to advancing innovative, customer-focused transportation solutions that continually improve access, mobility, safety and the overall campus experience.

For over 22 years, Renee has been dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and creating positive experiences for UB as a Certified Parking Professional and Assistant to the Director. Whether Renee is assisting customers, supporting her colleagues, or taking on new challenges, she brings dedication and a positive attitude to everything she does.

As a long-time staff member and Associate Director of Parking Services for Parking and Transportation Services, Matthew strives to connect threads of the past to the fabric of the future to reinforce the work of his predecessors. Among Matthew’s top goals is working to contribute to making a great experience on campus for the University community connecting technology with parking and mobility.

As the Associate Director of Business Services and Communications, Nancy helps keep the wheels turning at Parking and Transportation Services. She brings a “What’s the worst that can happen?” mindset to every challenge, embracing new ideas, creative solutions and opportunities to keep UB moving forward!

Johnny is proud to be a part of the University at Buffalo community for over 31 years. During his three and a half years as Mobility Manager, Johnny has focused on helping students, faculty, staff and visitors get where they need to go safely and on time across all three campuses. He is always looking for new ways to improve mobility and make getting around campus easier. Johnny is excited to continue finding new ways to enhance the campus experience and keep our community moving.

As the Community Relations Associate, Katie informs students, faculty and staff through community outreach and social media. She creates engaging content across multiple platforms to help those both on and off campus stay up to date and successfully navigate resources, tools, schedules and more.

Joanne provides the UB community with compassionate and accurate customer service in her role as Office Assistant. With over 18 years of experience in her position on our transportation team, Joanne ensures the Parking and Transportation office runs smoothly with her precise communication and helpful follow-throughs both in and outside of the office.
