The Office of Human Research Protections (OHRP) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has approved UB's application for a Federalwide Assurance for the Protection of Human Research Subjects effective July 22, 2005. The FWA replaces its predecessor, Multiple Project Assurance (M-1270).
