Winter Orientation is an important virtual experience at the beginning of your UB journey. The Online Modules will get you started with understanding academic responsibilities, out-of-classroom experiences, the many resources available to you as a new student, and more.

Your orientation program consists of required Online Modules in January to prepare for your successful start at UB.
You will register for the program on Step 1: Complete the Orientation Data Form.
The new student fee covers all expenses associated with your New to UB experience, including Winter Orientation and Winter Welcome. The $150 fee is billed to your student account.
The New Student Checklist overviews many of the tasks you need to complete to successfully begin at UB. Take action on the items below BEFORE arriving on campus.

Plan to attend Winter Welcome on Tuesday, January 21. The on-campus program will help you get to know your new university, including academic expectations and helpful on-campus resources. You will also connect with other new students and hear from current students.
Winter Welcome is an on-campus experience Tuesday, January 21. Classes begin Wednesday, January 22.
