Want to know what an average practice for Kickline is like? Well here's your chance! At the Master Class, you will stretch, warm-up, and learn a short combo, learn the ins and outs of everything Kickline, and meet the E-Board and fellow teammates! 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. | Carnival Game E-board officers will be at our table to explain our club to incoming students. If students wish to join our club they can participate in a free ringtoss game in which they can win small prizes such as seedlings, a small plant, or candy. We can you our solar-powered cart as a display for our information and a space for the game. 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. | Build a Bridge Competition We will supply materials such as Q-tips, straws, popsicle sticks, pipe cleaners, tape, and scissors and give students a specified amount of time to build the most stable bridge they can. After the time is up, we will test their bridge by seeing how many pennies it can hold. 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. | Nursing BINGO Our Purpose is to aid in the preparation of nursing students for professional responsibilities on a school and community level. Provide unity and fellowship, and promote support for students. We created nursing bingo as a way for students to get to know some tools seen in the hospital, clinical, and nursing school. We will show pictures of a certain item, a student will guess it and if guessed right, anyone with that item on their bingo board may place a chip on their board. Alpha Kappa Psi is the world's oldest and largest co-ed professional business fraternity. Our organization is open to ALL majors and focuses on developing students' soft skills for their futures. With the semester starting soon, we are open to recruitment and looking for new members. This event will kick off our Fall 2023 recruitment and we cannot wait to show you all. 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. | Destigmatizing the Menstrual Cycle Ever wonder what different types of period pain feel like? Do you have a male friend who doubts the pain of cramps? Join us to learn about the menstrual cycle and try out our period pain simulator to see what different types of cramps feel like (ranging from normal discomfort to endometriosis). This simulator is completely voluntary and everyone is welcome to our event (regardless of it they want to try it out or not).
