LAI 203 Academic Success Strategies Course

Academic Success Strategies (LAI 203) is a course taught by the TASS staff. It is designed to help students who are struggling with their coursework to get back on track. Students who have been placed on academic warning or probation are invited to take the course. LAI 203 is a 2 credit course designed for students in their first or second year at the university who are placed on academic warning or probation.

This course will focus on how to learn and meet the challenges and rigor of academics.

 The course provides exposure to various study strategies, an in-depth look at critical thinking, ways to increase motivation and improve attitude.

There will be weekly meetings with a peer academic coach to assist you with implementation of these skills throughout the semester.

The class includes lecture, discussion and in class activities.
