This course focuses on best practices in supply chain management, and how to organize and implement improvement efforts. Participants learn about supply chain management and advances in the areas of strategic sourcing and procurement, sales and operations planning, logistics and global distribution, inventory management, new product design and information systems. The course includes tools for improving customer service levels, lowering costs, quickening response, improving sustainability metrics, lessening disruptions, and enhancing product/service offerings.
