A: This course covers Clean Energy 101, Sustainability, Green Building, Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Nanotechnology for Renewable Energy, and a final project: Exploring Pathways in Renewable Energy Careers.

A: The course offers many discussion prompts in addition to one final project which allows learners to develop a portfolio containing a personalized “roadmap” detailing your career transition within the renewable energy industry. Learners will be given several opportunities to engage in optional and graded assessments.

A: The online course takes approximately 26 hours to complete, 3 weeks at 8-9 hours a week.

A: The online course is designed to provide learners with comprehensive insights into renewable energy. Our aim is to inform participants about the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the field of renewable energy. Moreover, the course is structured to encourage learners to consider furthering their education in renewable energy through certificate programs, and 2-year or 4-year professional degree programs offered at SUNY institutions in New York State.
