Global Health

The mission of SUNY GHI is to provide a mechanism that fosters collaboration and innovation in education, training, and research initiatives among international partners, and regional corporate and economic leaders, centered around global health programs at the SUNY Academic Health Centers and system-wide universities and college campuses.

The TPRC is key portion of the Univeristy at Buffalo being a GVN center of Excellence.

The Center for Integrated Global Biomedical Sciences (CIGBS) brings together faculty from research, clinical and applied programs to tackle the world’s most pressing health issues.

Zimbabwe Center of Excellence for Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Sciences provides a mechanism for collaborations between the University at Buffalo New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Science and the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences to be developed with universities and investigators around the world.

The Global Infectious Diseases ResearchTraining Program (GIDRTP) will focus on the training of basic, translational and clinical scientists to combat infectious diseases.  

The Buffalo Jamaica Innovation Enterprise consists of leaders of the University at Buffalo, the National Association of Jamaican and Supportive Organizations (NAJASO), the Jamaican and American Association of Buffalo (JAAB) and the City of Buffalo working together to connect Buffalo with Jamaica fostering collaboration in health care and information technology projects.
