UB Login Phish - Do not click 'Must read new covid-19 details' email 06-11-20

IT Security Alert.

An email supposedly from "Instructional Support Staff" claims to have a link to information about COVID-19.  The link in the body of the message takes you to what appears to be a login page for UB Outlook Web Access.

  1. The address ppessin@nl.edu is not a UB email address.
  2. Hovering over URL shows it is not a buffalo.edu site.

I already clicked the links. What should I do?

  • If clicked on the link, but did not enter your password, please check that your computer security or anti virus program is on and up to date.

I did not click on the links. What should I do?

Delete the email.
